What all is included in a Class 1, Division 1 modular extraction booth?
All modular booths come with: two C1D1 fans, a gas transmitter with sensor (hydrocarbon or CO2), vapor sealed LED lights, C1D1 20A power outlets, C1D1 amber strobe, 108dB horn alarm, automated control panel, conduit seal offs, appropriate rigid conduit to reach exterior of booth. Does a booth purchase include ductwork? No. We do not provide any ductwork from booth through the building or any roof penetrations. Those are better handled by a local contractor. Ideally, it should be mechanically drawn and stamped for hazardous use that you should submit to your AHJ for final approval. Is a fire suppression system required and do you provide one? Depends on your local jurisdiction. Check with your AHJ for guidance. We do not offer any fire suppression systems though any licensed third-party can easily incorporate one into the HVAC. Does this booth come with a technical report? Yes, our pre-fabricated models are issued with a third-party technical review by Pressure Safety Inspectors (202001041). Engineering stamps for 30 US states. AR/AZ/CA/CO/FL/HI/ID/IL/KS/KY/MA/MD/ME/MI/MN/NC/ND/NM/NV/NY/OH/OK/OR/PA/SC/TN/TX/VA/VT/WA. Do you offer field installation with purchase? Yes, you can have our technicians come install the booth to ensure all aspects of the process are done correctly. We perform a full functions test and walk-through on operations before leaving it with you. Just let us know when asking for an estimate and we can accurately reflect that in to the price.
